Work Project at Good Shepherd Outreach

On October 3, Iron Men invites you to join forces with us as we go to Good Shepherd to serve there. They have recently moved into a much larger facility and have loads of goods to be sorted through, separated, and catalogued.

Due to the overwhelming amount of material goods donated over time they are in great need of volunteers to assist in sorting all this out. We are working to develop a system of organization to give them a good idea of what resources they have available. This way, when clients come in for help, Good Shepherd will be better equipped to meet their needs.

For example: Typically Good Shepherd may provide clothing, bedding, household goods or even furniture to families who have been burned out of their home.. They cannot do that if they don’t know what is hidden beneath the stuff piled on top of it..

Our mission, should you decide to accept it.. is to serve the poor by sorting through the goods and help get it all organized.

We will meet at the warehouse on Depot Street in Soddy on October 3rd. If you are not sure where that is, contact us and we will help you get there.
