To teach, facilitate, and encourage the people of God to actively participate in spreading the good news of Jesus Christ through prayer, actions, and finances into all parts of the world.

The Missions Ministry of NRCC

 

The members of the church are committed to Jesus' call to spread the gospel. A significant portion of the monthly budget (17%) is devoted to missionaries across the world. Several church members have been on mission trips, the most recent was a trip to the flood ravaged area of Tarboro/Princeville, North Carolina. The six who went shared that even though they went to BE a blessing, they had received blessings in return.

John and Liz McGinnis

John and Liz McGinnis are Timothy’s of North River who have been led by the Holy Spirit to work in Hanchun, China where they teach open English classes in the community and work with a school for handicapped children where they have opportunities to build up and encourage the entire family in various environments. Liz does Physical Therapy in the school.

    purchased in 1999.

      Native evangelist/preacher in Curacao

    Curacao is a tiny island in the Caribbean. This church is only 2 years old. In 1999 moved  

    the worship services from the preacher's porch to a permanent tent.

 

Native evangelist/preacher in French Guyana

    This island is off the coast of Suriname, South America

    The preacher is originally from the Christian Church that was started in Suriname.

   

 

Our Purpose 

The purpose of North River Christian Church is to influence the world through a lifestyle that is passionately committed to Jesus Christ and demonstrated in:
