Good Shepherd Outreach is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to the command of Jesus to serve others in His Name. We believe that while we serve people by meeting their physical needs, we should never lose sight of their spiritual needs.

We shall endeavor at every opportunity to present the Lord Jesus Christ with the plan of salvation. We seek to encourage every person to realize his/her need for the Savior. Through this ministry, we strive to encourage, motivate, respect and increase each individuals self esteem as we seek to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Our Core Values

Evangelistically Reaching out to others in my realm of opportunity with words of hope in Jesus' name.

[Acts 1:8, Romans 10:11-15]

Socially Responsible Reaching out to others in my realm of opportunity with works of service, in Jesus' name.

Chattanooga Rescue Mission offers a ray of hope to the homeless men of this area. The mission provides a rehabilitation program for many men whose lives and families have been destroyed by drugs, alcohol, or other abuses. This is an “in house’ program that teaches freedom in Christ, develops self esteem, and offers job training to get men back into the work force.

Their family Assistance Service provides groceries, counseling, and Bible studies for needy families as well as offering aid to distressed families in finding jobs and living quarters.

The Retirement Quarters offers homeless men on a small pension adequate housing and seeks to give them dignity and respect through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
