OBJECTIVE:

To develop knowledge, understanding, and application of the Word of God, thereby deepening desire to know Jesus Christ and to honor him with daily decisions.

Some time ago, we grew tired of spending years going through specific curriculum prepared by professional teachers who did not know the specific needs of our children or the area in which we live. We saw, as so many churches do, that after years of Bible school and church activities, students were entering adulthood with the equivalent of an elementary education in the Word of God. They knew all the stories; many could recite them with fair accuracy, but understood very little about the story’s relevance to their life or how the application of God’s Word fit their specific situation.

We began to pray and study together concerning the education needs of every believer. We asked questions of ourselves, our teachers, and Elders;

What are the truths that every believer must know in order to live a godly life in a society that serves many false gods?

What do our children have to understand to be able to withstand the assault on their faith they so often encounter when they enter Middle School, High School, and College?

These questions led us to develop a very specific age graded set of goals and objectives for our students from age two through adult. The results so far have been dramatic. We want every believer the Lord brings us to understand what they believe and why they believe it. This is the foundation of spiritual maturity. Without these core teachings, Satan can easily reduce our faith to simple religion and common church activities.
